His private chapel, the Hokkedo, once stood here. The stone pagoda you see today was put in order in the Edo period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A small grave at the top of a flight of stone steps, a quiet place set apart from the bustle of the sights.<\/li><li>The area at the foot of the hill is the site of the Okura shogunate. It is a residential neighborhood today, but this is where the Kamakura shogunate began.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Wakaremichi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Head north from Wakaremichi on the road a little west of Egara Tenjin.
