Yuigahama Beach
Follow Wakamiya-oji avenue straight south from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and Kamakura’s sea opens up in front of you. The beach curves gently east into Zaimokuza.
Highlights
- Busy with swimmers in summer; in other seasons it is a quiet beach for walks and for watching the sunset.
- On clear days you may see Mt. Fuji and Enoshima beyond the western end of the beach.
For travelers at Wakaremichi
Valleys and temples in the morning, the sea breeze in the afternoon. Being able to change from the hills to the sea is one of the joys of traveling in Kamakura. When the sun gets low, head for dinner.
Opening hours, fees and closing days may change. Please check official information before you go.
