Kadoya, Italian in an Old House
An Italian restaurant in a renovated old Japanese house a little north of Wakaremichi. It has the feel of an old Kamakura home, and you can eat there without any fuss.
Our pick
The pasta is excellent. On a day when your legs are tired, start with a plate of pasta.
How to use it
- Dinner: it is a short walk from Wakaremichi, just right for overnight guests heading out in the evening.
- Lunch, too: it is also open at midday, good for lunch on a Valley Path day.
A fork in the road
A little further toward Tsurugaoka Hachimangu is Kadoya Terrace, a café restaurant in an old house that welcomes dogs. If you are traveling with your dog, go there.
Opening hours, closing days and payment methods may change. Please check before you go.
